Glasshape Limited Specialist Glass Products is a highly successful and dynamic business that focuses on manufacturing specialist glass products for the glass industry.

Originally founded in 1986, Glasshape Ltd mastered and refined the art of curving small pieces of glass by manufacturing glass lamps. From there the business has developed into New Zealand’s leading architectural and automotive glass bending and processing company.

A 100% New Zealand owned and operated company, Glasshape continues to grow as over the years more technology has been added to meet the huge influx of work from architects who have come to realise that with our help they can fulfill their dreams that the curves they draw on paper can be made into elegant curved glass realities.

At Glasshape, we take pride in producing fully certified glass for all types of applications including curved and toughened glass for balustrades, bay windows and display cabinets or flat laminated glass with weather, acoustic, security or bullet resistant properties.

Capabilities
We can produce curved, toughened glass up to 3900mm in height and 2440mm in width with thicknesses ranging from 4mm to 19mm. Almost any type of glass or tint can be produced. Super high performance security glass is also produced up to 3660mm x 2440mm using our patented GuardShield® interlayer of up to 15mm thickness. Specifications like these make break-ins (and breakouts!) virtually impossible.
