Glasshape Limited’s E-zone® Thermal Resistant Cyclone Rated glass is a fully certified Grade A Laminated Safety glass for use in cyclonic regions. Often E-zone® eliminates the need for double glazing due to its fantastic thermal resistant and energy efficient properties.
E-zone® is fully cyclone rated (AS/NZS1170.2:2002), and has a design wind capacity of 6.74 kPa in a 9.88 mm thick panel*1 (in accordance with AS4040.3). It also offers very good light transmission and the highest solar gain in its class (SF = 72%). On top of this, E-zone® has been subjected to a series of Hydrostatic pressure tests – taking cyclone resistant glass to a completely new level, setting yet another benchmark as an industry leader. E-zone® is not only serious protection from wind and storm damage but is also flood resistant. E-zone® is available in two stock thicknesses, 9.88 and 13.88 mm. Other special make up thicknesses available on request.
